Happy New Year’s Eve! Can you believe we are back at December 31st again? Crazy, right? It seems like 2009 flew by here at HM4Her, what with all the awesome changes and exciting additions we’ve had since January. This year brought us an amazing influx of movies, including some of the hottest queer flicks around, as well as some of the best porno parodies we have ever seen and a whole armload of classics that are making their video-on-demand debut!
2009 welcomed our newest team member, the fabulous FrzKey, on board, as well as our awesome behind-the-scenes affiliate managers, Josh and Jessica. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to some of our friends, including HotMoviesForHer creator, Venus Vegas. While we are sad that we no longer get to work with such an awesome lady, we are super excited that she is still in the industry, working with Stockroom.com, and we see her online all the time.
To finish this year out with a bang, we ladies of HM4Her decided to let you in on what made our year extra special and round up all the stuff that we loved in the last twelve months. Dear Porno Editors,
I love Michelle Aston. She is a sexy scientist who is amazing enough to be on the official list of people I am allowed to make out with if I meet her and she’s interested. Seriously, how hot is this chick?
 
Sadly, last I knew, she was no longer working in the industry. While I totally respect her decision and wish her the best, that doesn’t mean I don’t often check for new additions to the site that feature her.
Recently, it has come to my attention that the people editing porno comps are working together to ruin my life. Five out of the last ten movies to go live starring Ms. Aston feature the same fucking scene. I mean, it’s a decent scene, but can you understand that I don’t want to watch Aston fuck Aubrey Adams over and over again. Apparently, this scene is handed out to porn companies like Ed Hardy gear is handed over to that John and Kate dude. I just really wish I never had to see either again.
So, in conclusion, I’d really appreciate it if everyone would stop ruining my day by including this hot but overexposed scene in your latest “lesbian” porno.

Last Friday I spent the day hanging out at the 8th Annual Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference and got my learn on about all the new medical and health info going on in the transgender community. This conference is near and dear to my heart and I’ve been either attending or volunteering for a bunch of years. This year I was lucky enough to not only go to learn, but to also preach the porno gospel and hand out free 30-minute cards for HotMoviesForHer.com.
While I was super excited to pass out our cards and turn people on to great porno, I wasn’t quite sure how it would go over. I mean, we are HotMoviesForHer.com, so what about all the people I wanted to talk to that don’t identify as her? I certainly didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. And the fact is that we have some of the most awesome female-to-male trans porn that’s on the market and more hot queer porn than you can shake a stick at!
Well, turns out I just need to quiet my buzzing Virgo brain more often, because no one gives a crap about a name when you are giving them access to free hot porn. We could be called BirdSharkFishButt.com and folks would still come a-running at the mere mention of hot queer humping. That said, everyone that I spoke with was super excited about HotMoviesForHer and what we have to offer. Maybe it’s because I’m such an awesome salesgal or maybe porn just sells itself (more likely), but I was out of cards by the time I left for the evening. And had the promise of a few emails on their way asking me for movie suggestions.

I make passes at girls in glasses. I don’t know how the whole ‘wearing glasses make you a loser’ thing got started, but it is total crap. For some pornographers there is little difference between art and porn. The results don’t always come out as smoothly as you’d like them too, but this Vena Virago directed movie totally nails the art/porn merger on the head. Mixing interviews and gonzo-style filming (aka. the filming is part of the action), Virago takes the focus of the scenes away from porno and plays up the reality that these two stars are having sex. It’s like watching actors that play friends on a tv show hang out in real life. It’s really fun and engaging to watch. Plus she picked some of my all time faves, including Michelle Aston and Roxy Deville.
I was so looking forward to scene four with Michelle Aston and Page Morgan. It’s common knowledge that I have a crush on the lovely Ms. Aston and am always super excited to see what she has to offer. Unfortunately things didn’t go as sexy as I had planned. I loved that during her interview, Aston talked all about her time as a neuro-scientist (so hot!), but when she started in with the whole “I love making love to a woman because that’s the ultimate form of goddess worship,” I totally lost my boner. I’m not saying that isn’t poetic or whatever, but that kinda talk just doesn’t do it for me when I wanna get hot and bothered. The actual sex was a little on the “eh” side too. Anything with a Hitachi Magic Wand is pretty awesome, but Page Morgan seemed a bit uninterested, or maybe scared (well, it was her first real lesbian experience, so I’ll cut her a little slack).
The rest of the movie was pretty amazing though. I loved the pre-sex interview piece that came with each scene. It was really cool to hear each of performers talk about their time in the industry and how they started. My favorite one was definitely scene five’s Rebeca Linares and Tyler Knight. Both performers did their interviews in Spanish, which was fun, and I really liked how personal they got about their interests. The sex was pretty fucking mind blowing as well. Can’t forget that! This whole movie reminded me of Tristan Taormino’s Chemistry series, which I loved, and I can’t help but give it two thumbs up. I’m excited to watch disc 2!

The 2009 Feminist Porn Awards, my favorite porn awards show of the year, is coming up later this week and not only am I super excited to see who takes home awards, I am extra thrilled because I get to be there! That’s right, HM4Her is sponsoring this grass-roots celebration of revolutionary sex positivity and hot, hot movies and I get to be a part of the action! I even get to present an award, which I am all squeallly (and crazy nervous) about. So, in honor of The Feminist Porn Awards taking place this week, I am dedicating the Top Five Tuesday to talking about my top five 2009 nominees. Picking only five titles out of the ridiculously awesome pool of nominees was really difficult and more than once I found myself thinking about renaming this week as “Top Ten Tuesday,” but eventually I settled on five that really grabbed my attention and had me fanning myself as I watched. How do you translate the hottest thing you’ve ever seen to the written word? I guess all I really need to write is “Michelle Aston.” I thought I loved the super sexy tattooed chicka before, but no I was wrong wrong wrong. This is the video that I will picture any time I think of Aston from now on. And every time, I will need to fan myself.
For me, it’s all about the way Michelle talks dirty. Her low growling demands and the way that she gets her partner to ditch the silence and join the dirty talk game… or at least say what they want. And how she takes charge and makes it lovingly rough. It’s all so amazingly hot.
Julie is quiet and shy. Her words are barely above a whisper before Michelle teases them out of her. Julie’s moans, on the other hand, are nice and loud, letting us know how good it all feels. She is the perfect bottom to Aston’s tough love top. Also, something I didn’t find out about Julie until I was half way through the movie is that she is post-op transgender M-T-F. I wouldn’t even bother mentioning it, as she is just as much a woman as me, but I wanted to point out how awesome this movie is for having a transwoman in it that doesn’t need to be labeled with some awful “shemale” business. I love progressive companies! And like I said above, I didn’t even know until halfway through the movie, and they show a good amount of vag. Yay for awesome surgery!
All in all, this movie is now one of my favorites. Something I will not only watch again, but plan to recommend to all my friends. And from the lips of a porn reviewer, that’s a pretty high endorsement.

It’s just a fact of life that in most instances, when a porn movie tries to get all wordy and plot heavy, they usually just get embarassing. How many times can a pizza guy deliver an “extra-large sausage” to a horny woman, laying around all alone in her skimpiest nightie before it gets old? Really, it was old before it began. But sometimes - just sometimes, smut peddlers get it right and a washed up plot ends up being the best scene of the movie. The Pizza Man: It’s true, sometimes the pizza man is too hot to pass up. This scene, directed by the award winning Erika Lust, gives us a peek into what happens when this plot skips the embarrassing dialogue and goes straight for the jugular of super hotness. Be warned that it’s in Spanish with no subtitles – you might not understand the words, but you’ll definitely get what’s going on. One of the best porn scenes I’ve ever watched, this pizza delivery is not to be missed!

Repair Man: I don’t know what I like best about this scene – the fact that the TV repair man is a chick, or that the repair chick is my super hot dykey porno crush, Michelle Aston. This is the scene that started my love affair with her, so how could I not include it? Last night The Porn Librarian and I stayed up late to chat about girly porn with the Diana Cage on her Sirius OutQ radio show. For those of you not obsessed with dyke media like I am, Diana Cage was the one time editor of both lesbo porno mag On Our Backs and dyke culture magazine Velvet Park (read my interview with them!) and has been involved in the world of lezzie writing for a long time. Now that Cage has her own queer radio show, she packs it full of sexy folks from all over the homo realm to talk about – what else – queers and sex! And if we here at HotMoviesForHer know anything, it’s queers and sex.
Last night’s show went really well and The Porn Librarian and I got a chance to highlight some of the hottest movies and stars porn has to offer, including some of my personal favorites.
