A bunch of weeks back, I was watching the premiere of Conan O’ Brien taking over The Tonight Show, when all of a sudden Conan was hanging out in the middle of the Vivid Entertainment Group’s offices. What the hell? Apparently Conan was just paying a visit to his new neighbors, who reside right across the street from his Tonight Show set.
Yep, Vivid was on The Tonight Show. That is how big the porno emipre of Vivid really is - they’ve become a household name… a sexy, sexy household name, like Hitachi Magic Wand, or Debbie Does Dallas. And with more than 2000 movies and a slew of super hot contract girls under their belt, as well as changing the face of porn and adult marketing since 1984,Vivid is turing 25!

Quite often, porn series seem like a joke to me. I mean, were the first 47 editions of Big Dicks Stretching Her Tight Slit not enough? Of course, if that’s what does it for you, I’m not hear to judge, but when you’ve had tens of thousands of pornos go through your hands, it starts to seem silly.
However, there are a few adult series that I love and I’m pretty excited when a new edition is released. Sadly, these are from people who are cranking out a new volume every month, but I’m a patient girl and willing to wait for quality JO material.

Leave it to Tristan Taormino to take porno to the next level. Not only is this sex educator extraordinaire an author, editor and director, she’s a totally innovator! Bringing it back to the stylings of the very first reality show, Tristan goes “Real World” on porn and brings seven stars together for 36 hours with no scripts, no directions and no expectations. Just decide who you wanna fuck and make a scene. It could have been a complete disaster, but instead Tristan Taormino in actuality created an amazing space for porn stars to really talk about their experiences and get down to the nitty gritty of the industry.
This installment, the first of the series, brings together the likes of Dana DeArmond, Kurt Lockwood, Mika Tan, Jack Lawrence, Mr. Marcus, Taryn Thomas and Marie Luv. That is one house full of hotness. It was really cool to hear the stars talk as a group about the issues of working in the adult industry and the stigmas and challenges they face. While I loved the actual sex, of course, to me it’s always a treat to listen to porn stars talk about being porn stars. Cut me some slack, I’m an academic pervert.
The talking was great and all, but it Taryn Thomas, Kurt Lockwood and Mika Tan in scene 6 that totally took this reality raunch romp to that lip biting, squirming in your chair place. Mika Tan straps on and fucks Kurt Lockwood! How fucking hot! Don’t trust me – stop reading and get to clicking the link!

I’m not sure if you noticed this, but everything Tristan Taormino touches basically turns to gold. Whether she’s tackling open relationships in her latest book or teaching the masses the joys of anal sex in her educational video series - she consistently produces amazing sex ed materials. And if you’ve checked out any movies in her Chemistry series, you know she can shoot a pretty hot porno too! Like so many sexperts, she’s put in her time at Babeland and they recently posted a new interview with this amazing woman!

What did you learn at Babeland that helped you in the wide world of sex education after you left? I think one of the most important lessons for me was to leave my own sex life out of it, and approach everyone without any judgment. I needed to meet each person where they were at. When someone said, ‘I am looking for something big,’ I asked them to show me what they meant, rather than assuming. You need to listen to people, empower them to ask for what they need and want.
You’ve long been seen as the “Anal Sex Guru” – did you have any idea starting out that you would become so associated with that particular sexual activity? Well, I did write the book on the subject! Really, I don’t feel pigeon-holed or anything. If I am forever known as the anal sex expert, I am okay with that.

This movie was really fun. I mean, I grew up watching MTV’s The Real World so when I heard about the premise of Tristan Taormino’s Chemistry series, I was pretty excited. In case you’re unaware, it works like this: six porn stars, picked to live together for 36 hours, and have their sexy lives taped.
Everyone in the cast seems to genuinely like each other and they’re all having a lot of fun. At one time, Evan Stone even dons a tiger suit and everyone has a good laugh. They also can’t seem to keep their hands off of each other (and themselves) – which seems to be even more fun. Tristan Taormino arranges for a couple who are experts in tantra to visit the house and the stars seem to really enjoy and learn a lot from what they were saying.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the confessional-style interviews that occur throughout the movie. You begin to see a side of the stars that you don’t get from watching your average porn movie and it makes them a little more human. Tyler Knight (who’s fucking sexy as hell) talks about connecting with Penny Flame while they had sex and Penny Flame breaks down at one point and sheds a few tears.
This movie has two discs to it and I watched both. Taormino has a knack for making sexy movies with a heart that are enjoyable to watch.
And who knows, maybe next time they’ll try Wife Swap.

I love this movie. Love it! I’m also the kind of person that gets totally suckered into watching marathons of The Real World and Surreal Life for hours. You give me people stuck together in a house with a confessional, I give you my full attention. And if you’re like me, and in it for the long haul, this flick is for you. There is a ton of hot sex in this movie, but it’s not all quick to the draw. There are also loads of interviews and fun, non-sexual interactions between the porn star housemates, some of which turn into really hot, hardcore action.
The way it works is that the housemates create scenes and request partners for themselves, and they fuck as the professionals they are, but on a different level. It’s almost as if they break down the barriers between how they fuck on the job and how they fuck in their personal lives. That’s what I love about it. They have discussions about working in porn that actually get to a fairly deep place about the process and how they negotiate working and having sex with people on and off camera. And let’s not forget the sex! Hot, hot, hot! There’s a lot of laughing and joking around – basically everyone looks like they are having a genuinely good time as they get off. Like I said, this movie rocks!
