I can’t decide whether I want to throw up on my shoes or sprout wings and fly… Jiz Lee, Courtney Trouble and I are running past the front entrance of the Palms Hotel and Casino, exactly three minutes late for the red carpet and the excitement is palpable. Tonight is such a big night and we have spent the last two hours gearing up for our shining moment. I’m wearing a sculptural black strapless mini dress and 6 inch heels, Jiz is in pinstripe pants and chaps and Courtney is looking fierce in a black striped dress with a gold bolero jacket and perfect make-up. We make it to the line up inside a side room at The Palms and breathe a deep sigh of relief. In line is April Flores, looking outrageous in a pink latex confection. Not many people can shine on both sides of the video camera. It takes a certain breed to feel equally comfortable in the action as well as calling the shots. Kimberly Kane does both with a style and grace that capture the commercial successes of mainstream porn and the artful exploration of the alternative realm.
Not only is Kane a total pleasure to watch in whatever position she is in – be it rocking a dance off with Joanna Angel or fakin’ a love of tofu in First Dates (and you pervs thought I meant doggy style), she shines through as the person to watch no matter how many people are in the frame. As a director, she is bold and engaging and makes the kind of stuff I’d watch even if people kept their clothes on. Fun and up for anything that makes porn more that just the old in and out, Kimberly Kane isn’t afraid to bring it, and that’s just what she does.

I got into the business in late 2003, two months before my 20th birthday. I tagged along to a set with a friend unsure of what to expect and it was a very good “free spirited” experience.

For those of you who want to see a little more than a close-up of a cock ramming into a vagina, Glamcore is one you should definitely check out. Director Ethan Kane has stripped porn of the bad plot and removed any visual distractions in this beautifully shot movie.
I love that each scene takes place on a bed in a room that is completely black otherwise. There’s no ugly couch, boom mic or dirty socks on the floor to distract you, just two hot people fucking! Each scene starts out slowly, with a little solo play, followed by oral before they get to the fucking, but the build up is exactly what I need to get in the mood. I can’t speak for all women, but this girl doesn’t go from o to 60 in under five seconds…
My favorite scene was the second, which features my boy Tommy Gunn and Faith Leon. I know I’ve mentioned this a million times, but Gunn fucks like a jack hammer and I can’t get enough of this Jersey boy. His perfect physique against the black back drop is something to write home about… if your mom wants to hear about naked dudes in porn, that is.
Overall, I thought this entire movie was hot. The cast features some really big stars including Bobbi Starr and Annette Schwarz and the camera work is fantastic. Here’s hoping there’s a Glamcore 2!

I loved Ernest Greene’s O – The Power of Submission when it first came out, In fact, it was actually the first movie I ever reviewed for the site. I’ve seen a lot of porn since then, but this retelling of The Story of O remains one of my favorite kinky movies.
Adam and Eve’s sequel, The Surrender of O came out last year and for some unknown reason I’m just getting around to reviewing it now. At the end of the original, O (Bree Olson) rejected her dominant partner Steven and this one picks up six months later. Apparently she still has a taste for kink!
I have to admit that I was blown away from the very first scene. O is just finishing up a photo shoot when Nina Hartley and Nicole Sheridan come in to find her sopping wet and craving release. After they give her permission to come, she is suspended from the ceiling by her feet at a height that allows her to eat Sheridan out. Hartley takes the opportunity to tease O with a silver vibe, lightly spank her with a switch and fuck her with a glass dildo. Holy crap! Of course, I loved Tommy Gunn as O’s former lover Steven. He’s back in the sequel and making a play for O once again. Of course, this doesn’t stop him from taking on Kayden Cross and Bobbi Starr in the fourth scene. It’s really good and ends with some pretty hot butt fucking!
If you’re into mainstream-ish BDSM flicks, you’re going to love this one. It’s got a little bit of everything including rope bondage, toy play and Nina Hartley, who at one point sums up the movie for me by stating “We don’t punish because they’re bad, we punish because it’s fun.”
