First impressions really do make a difference. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box with my Burning Angel 7.5” Waterproof Vibe was the pretty crackled black finish. While lookin’ good doesn’t always equate to feelin’ good, I was still pretty sure I was in for a treat… 7.5” worth of a treat, to be exact!

My very first toy was a straight bullet-shaped (but not a bullet vibe) vibe just like this one. It didn’t fail me then and this one didn’t fail me now. This black blazing big guy hums its way right into euphoric pleasure. The packaging states multiple speeds, but mine has one speed only. ON. There is no easing up to the humming – it’s just on or off. I’ve had some vibes that are jack-hammer worthy, but this one is not. It’s a pretty low hum, but again, did the job.

Along with being big, beautiful and phthalate free, my fractured black friend is also waterproof (and says it’s usable in the bathtub). Out of the toys I’ve had in my lifetime, several state they are waterproof, but I have yet to try and submerge any of my toys in fear of ruining them. This vibe has a small rubber sealer on it preventing water from getting to the batteries… I’m just saying I didn’t test it in the water. Also, is there a difference between waterproof and submergible? [Ed. – There is a difference between “splash-proof” and “water-proof,” usually meaning that you can splash the “splashproof,” but cannot submerge it. With the “waterproof” should be good to go. Be sure to check the packaging though! If it says bathtub, you can definitely use it there.]

Ok, so this toy says bathtub, in a bathtub using this vibe would mean completely submerging it for any type of insertion… Ok, shit…I’ll try it. Submerged it, and it’s still buzzing. What do ya know? There is still water in the end which twists for power, but I think that will eventually dry out. The batteries remained completely dry. My world just opened up in the bathtub!

And speaking of batteries, a word of advice:
Once I broke through the easy-open plastic package (which is awesome because it doesn’t take an hour and a pair of sharp scissors to get it out of the packing) and got my batteries ready for insertion, I noticed a thin cardboard’ish material inside the shaft of my vibe. I pulled it out and then saw it had pictures of batteries on it. I figured it was directional, and left it out… only to be buzzed pretty much right out of my hand. Keep the paper stuff in there. It works as insulation for the batteries rattling the outside of the vibe as well as giving you directions how to put in the batteries. As stated on the packaging: Please love yourself and Mother Earth responsibly; use rechargeable batteries. Love it!

All in all, I would recommend this vibe for a first timer or as a gift to a girlfriend who is on the fence with toys. Its exotic look makes it an easy gift to exchange, not like handing someone a King Kong Dong. Classy, fun and good quality, the Burning Angel 7.5” Waterproof Vibe is definitely a keeper.
