Oh, G-Spot. To some you are so simple, and to others, you are harder to crack than the Da Vinci code. So, I’ve decided to get down and dirty with our good friend G again and bring you all I can about our international man of mystery.

Ok, back to the Spot in the spotlight! Before I get into the “even more” about the G-Spot, let’s have a quick look back at the basics:

What is the G-Spot? Well, first off the G-Spot isn’t so much a spot as an area on the front wall of the vagina that is highly sensitive when a woman is aroused.  The easiest way to find the G-spot is to have a woman (or any vagina carrying person) lie on her back. Insert two fingers into her vagina (palm up) and curl them up in a “come hither” motion. The G-spot feels like a quarter-sized spongey area that will become engorged and slightly hard when a woman is aroused.

Some people experience a deeper, fuller body orgasm with G-Spot stimulation and some can even ejaculate from a G-spot orgasm!

Everyone’s bodies are different though, and to some people, rubbing the G-Spot does nothing for them. Others experience a feeling like they need to pee when their G-Spot is stimulated. No matter how touching your G-Spot affects you, nothing is wrong with you – if something doesn’t work for you sexually, why stress over it?

Now on to the nitty gritty! The G-Spot can also be hit during penetrative sex. Many penises (though not all) have a natural curve upward when they are erect. This curve can make the penis an ultimate G-Spot tool if used properly.

The trick is shallow thrusting or pulling back out and in repeatedly. Because the G-Spot is only about 5-7 centimeters from the vaginal opening, a penis that goes deep into the vagina and stays buried deep during thrusting will not hit the G-Spot.

While girl-on-top has been touted as a good G-Spot position for some, having just discussed deep thrusting, I can see where it might not be a good option for others. For girl-on-top, a great suggestion for added G-Spot stimulation is leaning back while being penetrated. This angle can help rub against your magic buttons.

One G-Spot friendly position that has been thumbs-upped by women is one where the woman lies on her back, with a pillow underneath her bottom and pulls her legs up and knees into her chest. The pillow should raise her to about a 15 degree angle. Her partner then thrusts into her shallowly, allowing their penis to go in about 5-8 centimeters to hit the G-Spot.

This position also works really well when the partner stands at the foot of the bed and the woman lies on her back by the edge of the bed, still using the pillow under her bottom, to get the right angle.

Doggy-style, is a great position for G-Spot lovin’ as well. With penetration from behind, the penis is aimed directly at the G-Spot area. Another highly praised position is the Spoons position, where both people can change their angles freely to find the best fit.

Anal penetration can also work to arouse the G-Spot because of indirect stim through the rectal wall. Girl-on-top anal is a good position to reach the G-spot from anal sex.

What about other kinds of penetration, you ask?

Well, lucky us, there are a whole host of toys that are specifically designed for G-Spot stim! These toys usually curve upward or are “U” or “S” shaped and, more often than not, labeled as G-Spot friendly. Dildos and vibrators both come in G-Spot specific models. Before I get to the toys, I have one last, important topic. Queer sex and G-Spot stimulation. As you probably know, if you’ve read any other sex tip I’ve written, when I say “penis,” I am referring to both a biological male penis and a strapped-on dick. For many obvious reasons they are different, but one main reason that may not be so obvious is that each bio penis can only be one shape, but a strap-on dildo can be switched out! This means that you can strap-on a G-Spot specific dildo and go to town in a way that a bio penis can only dream.
